Back in the day there was a company called American Laser Games and they made light gun games. Initially they made the technology for police training but found it was equally good for games. Their “light gun laserdisc video games” were notorious for their use of B-movie grade full motion video. Now you’ll be able to get “laserdisc” quality gaming right on your iPhone.
The game Mad Dog McCree made it’s debut as an arcade game in 1990 and will make it’s mobile debut on December 20 thanks to Digital Leisure. The conversion from light gun to screen tapping should work as good as, if not better than, the versions on 3DO, CD-i, or Sega CD.
If you’re wondering what the game is about there is a trailer that will explain the plot and show you the quality of the full motion video, or as we called it back in the day FMV.
